About Me
The Story Behind Raw Vision Studio & My Journey into Movement
At the age of 13, my ballet journey began, I am from a small beach town on Denmark's west coast. Seeking to deepen my passion for dance, I left home at 15 to pursue my dreams further. Over time, I started to incorporate yoga into my daily routine. The fluid movements and the profound connection between body and mind captivated me.
When I turned 17, I made the decision to stop dancing ballet. This transition was challenging; I felt a profound loss of identity and, more importantly, I missed the movement. However, yoga offered me a pathway to rediscover balance. Unlike the rigorous structure of my previous six-hour training sessions a day, yoga provided me with the flexibility to tailor the intensity and duration of my practice through instructional videos.
Three Years of Travels Around the World
At 20, I began teaching my first yoga classes. That same year, I embarked on a nine-month journey across South and Central America. For which I am enormously grateful about. This experience was pivotal, igniting a dream of a life where I could merge yoga with surfing.
Upon turning 21, I set out on my next adventure, starting in Australia and then moving to India. It was here that I completed my yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, earning my certification. My travels continued through the heart of India to Sri Lanka, which became my home for the following 11 months. Immersed in stunning nature and a vibrant culture, I dedicated my days to surfing and teaching yoga. It was within this environment that the vision for Raw Vision Studio began to take shape.
I envisioned a community, composed of like-minded individuals who value movement, healt, well-being and our planet. This vision is now becoming a reality, and I am beyond excited and gratefull to share this journey with you.
